Saskia Versteeg, ME

Saskia Versteeg leads the Land and Partnerships teams at Living Carbon, a public benefit company reforesting Appalachian minelands and agricultural land. She has a master's in environmental engineering from UIUC, was a Udall conservation scholar, and has spent her career building new impactful companies from the ground up. Living Carbon's team includes professional foresters, carbon scientists, land specialists, fundraisers, wildlife photographers, greenhouse managers, and all-around tree enthusiasts bringing high-quality reforestation carbon projects to the US market.
